There is a saying " If you cannot be a pine, be the best bush by the side of the road" - this was the ideology which led to the genesis of Daya Memorial Charitable Trust (DMCT) a small but efficient organization with its base camp in Munirka Village - an urban village of New Delhi.

The foundation of the trust was laid on 31st Jan 1995 by its founder Dr R. K Kapoor with a noble intend to help the needy population in remote areas and with persuasion of like-minded individuals who wanted to give back to the society and community.

In line with its objectives DMCT has consciously been setting up health camps in remote and inaccessible locations over the last 25 years and although the journey has not been easy, but the intent and enthusiasm of the team and the magnitude of impact on the people of the regions where camps have been organized has made it possible to carry this mission forward.
